We all want to know "What is happening with the Lion's Gate and 2nd Narrows?"  In a nutshell, prepare yourself for some long waits. Olympic vehicles will be getting priority to get onto the bridge. The original discussion of closing lanes for Official Olympic Vehicles was abandoned, but we will still see significant delay.

If you would like help figuring out how to get from point A to point B - check out http://travelsmart2010.ca/city-of-vancouver-residents-businesses

Traffic Changes

North Shore Bridges will have lead-ins at both ends of the Lions Gate and Ironworkers Memorial bridges to give priority to Games vehicles. There will be no Olympic Lanes on the bridges.

Parking & Road Restrictions – No parking or personal vehicles are allowed up Cypress Mountain and there will be parking restrictions at West Vancouver’s Celebration site.

Check travel on the Sea to Sky Highway if you need to reach Squamish, Whistler or Pemberton. Permits are required for all Northbound travel beyond Squamish on Highway 99 between 6 am and 6pm.
