We are all looking forward to being the host city for the 2010 Olympics!! It will be important to make sure that you know how to get where you are going. Click on the link below to view the road closures that will be affecting the area for the duration of the games.
Also the VANOC just released some more road closure information regarding the Cambie Street Bridge:
"Vanoc plans to close the Cambie Bridge and a section of Beatty Street to traffic between noon and midnight around the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games to clear the streets for hundreds of motorcades of visiting dignitaries, athletes and spectators.
The closures will be in effect on Feb. 10 when Vanoc will hold a massive dress rehearsal, involving thousands of performers, stage crews, production crews and volunteers, for the opening ceremony as well as the ceremony itself on Feb. 12. They will also extend to the closing ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 28 and the opening ceremony for the Paralympic Winter Games on March 12."
